I’m Camille. Born in Geneva, I’m studying Environmental Sciences in the University of Lausanne and I will obtain a Bachelor's degree by the begging of our trip. Thanks to my studies, I understand better the environmental issues our world is facing and this is something important for me, especially in regard to natural resources management.

Already using my bicycle for my daily mobility, it’s quite naturally that I wanted to use it to discover other parts of the world. And I met Alain, who was just coming back from a cycling trip in North India. I have already cycled around Switzerland but it makes no doubt that the roads we’ll be cycling on through the Andes will be something something different. I can't wait to hit the road, discover new sceneries, and meet the people we’ll encounter along the way !

I’m Alain and I’m also from Geneva. I just graduated in Environmental Engineering at EPFL, Lausanne.

Cycling has always been for me the best way to move around. I use a bike on a daily basis as my main means of transportation. But I also discovered during a two-month cycling trip from Geneva to Dubrovnik (3150 km) in 2006 with a friend that cycling was the best way to travel around the world. I enjoyed it so much that 4 years later I cycled the famous road Manali - Leh - Srinagar in North India. This road, crossing the famous regions of Ladakh and Kashmir with passes at 4800, 5000 and 5300 meters above sea level, made me discover a wonderful area with an incredible cultural weatlh. I am really looking forward to this new adventure with Camille on a new continent, on new roads and with new landscapes!
